Groupe britannique initié en 1978. Def Leppard est un nom incontournable du hard rock de la décennie 80. La bande s'est démarquée grâce aux albums High 'n' dry (1981) et Pyromania (1983), le succès se confirmant avec le suivant, le fameux Hysteria (1987). Parmi leurs morceaux à succès, on se souvient notamment de Rock Of Ages, Love Bites et Two Steps Behind. L'histoire de Def Leppard a été marquée par l'amputation d'un bras de son batteur, Rick Allen, qui a pourtant continué son rôle à l'aide d'une batterie sur mesure.
